The Comparation Analysis Of Treating The Cervical Spondylosis By The "Hwato" Acup-point Method

Ojective:To observe the medical effectiveness of treating the various Cervical Spondylosis by the "Hwato" Acup-Point Combination treatment.Methods: The Clinical Experiment and data collection were conducted in Singapore Private Orthopaedic TCM Clinic . Amount 40 cases of the Orthopaedic Cervical Spondylosis were collected ramdomly containing each 20 cases in the "Hwato" Acup-Point Combination treated group and the control group. The treatment was followed by fixed quantity, method and medication. The system of "Hwato" Acup-Point Combination is in sequence of "Hwato"Acupuncture, Nect Traction, Chiropratic Manipulation , External Herbal Medication and Nect Fixation. The control group is conducted without "Hwato" Acupunction. The various patients under the experiment were given at least six times of treatment including the follow-up visits. Each treatment time interval was assigned from 3 to 4 days. The Symptom Accumulated Point was noted each time which used to calculate the follow- up Symptom Improvement Rate. Amount the 40 cases , the first 5 times of the follow-up Improvement Rate were noted. We take the average figure for each follow-up treatment for comparison.Results:THe symptoms and physical signs were improved after by both methods. After completion of 5 times treatments, the "Hwato" treated group of 20 cases completely reached definite effect and only 14 cases of treatment in the control group could reach the same level. By comparing the first 3 times Improving rates, we discover that the different between both is great. The improvement effect in "Hwato" treated group is significant. It will take more treatments by both methods in order to reach the completely heal. The recovering effect is very much delied on the individual body health situation .Conclusion:The symptom and physical signs were improved in both treated and control group. The Symtom Improvement Rate of "Hwato" Acup-Point combination is comparative obvious and significant .It has the avantages to shorten the follow-up treatment time by comparing the other non-surgical treatment methods. Nevertheless, the avantage in usage of the "Hwato' Acup-Point combination is highly recommended.
