The Relation And Influential Factors Of EQ And Employment Of Nursing Students In Some Higher Professional Institutions In Hunan Province

Objective Investigate the standard of emotion and employment quality for the 2008 nursing students who possess diploma in some vocational colleges of Hunan province, and study factors influencing both of them and mutral relationship in order to provide a basis for improving the employment quality of nursing students of vocational college.Methods Employing random sampling method and adopting self-designed demographic information sheet, employment quality questionnaire as well as emotional quotient questionnaire, we investigate 690 nursing students possessing the 2008 diploma of some vocational colleges in Hunan province. We distribute 690 questionnaire and take back 678, 660 of which are effective. That is, the effective recovery rate is 95.65%. Then we establish by the statistic software SPSS13.0 the data base, and deal with the data through statistical analysis, such as statistic description, single sampling t test, double sampling t test, variance analysis, chi-square test non-parametric test, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and so forth.Results (1) The mean of EQ score for nursing students possessing the 2008 diploma of vocational colleges is 197.13±23.48,where the fluctuation is 132-254.The number of nursing students who have not or have signed the contract is 306,354respectively, where mean score of employment quality for those signing contract and fluctuaion of mean score is 2.33-4.92.(2) Course of employment, age, confidence of employment, sex are brought into multilinear regression equation whose variable is EQ score, and the equation owns statistical sense (p<0.01).(3) Prize, cadre, EQ score, love, composition of family, political status are brought into multilinear regression equation whose variable is mean score of employment quality, and the equation owns statistical sense(p<0.01).(4) EQ score and mean score of employment quality take on positive correlation, and correlation coefficient is 0.682 (P<0.01) .Conclusions (1) EQ score for nursing students possessing the 2008 diploma of vocational colleges is slightly over the norm, however expression of emotion and intention of behavior are under the norm.(2) Course of employment, age, confidence of employment and love are factors influencing the EQ for nursing students.(3) Prize, cadre, EQ score, love,composition of family, political status are factors enfluencing empolyment quality for nurse students.(4) EQ score and mean score of empolyment quality take on positively linear correlation.
