Objective:To explore efficacy of reality teaching model for practical training of<basic nursing> in the hospital-based class and provide evidence for improving vocational nursing education.Methods:The 2011 Kunshan class from Jiangsu Vocational College of Jiankang was selected as control group and 2012 and 2013 classes were chosen as experimental groups. The Control group was trained with routinely traditional use and required methods by the School, that is, classroom-based lectures and practicing performance via human analogue.. The experimental group was trained with reality teaching modle:One clinical nursing unit was selected and all students themselves participated clinical nursing performance and completed all basic nursing skills. The basic nursing skills operation evaluation results were compared among the 2 groups In addition, the comprehensive ability of nursing assessment and students’evaluation of teaching methods, teaching effect feedback evaluation were evaluated.Results:Two groups of higher vocational nursing students baseline data in the gender ratio, comparison of a total of four aspects of the age, the first year of "basic nursing science" course grades, and the first year of the course grade, the differences without statistical significance. (1) the experimental group of higher vocational nursing students of basic nursing skills operation total score better than the control group; the experimental group of higher vocational nursing students assessed before operation, preparation before operation, operation skill three aspects has better performance than the control group; no statistically significant while the experimental group of higher vocational nursing students in quality training, theoretical questions 2 achievements and control group differences; between the experimental group:2013 level higher vocational nursing students of basic nursing skills operation total score is better than grade 2012.(2) in the experimental group, the higher vocational nursing students of fundamental nursing skills related theory knowledge score is higher than that of the control group; which in the test group and the control group of higher vocational nursing students in comprehension and analysis of 2 grades higher than that of the control group; and difference in memory problems results in no statistical significance; between the experimental group:no statistically significant higher vocational nursing students of fundamental nursing skills related theory knowledge score differences.(3) in the experimental groups of higher vocational nursing students comprehensive ability of nursing score better than the control group; the experimental group of higher vocational nursing students in nursing application and nursing patient communication, evaluation of thinking, ability of clinical strain 4 achievements were better than the control group. The experimental group:the class of 2013 vocational nursing students in the nurse patient communication has better performance than the class of 2012. (4) in the experimental groups of higher vocational nursing students to the teaching method of identity is higher than that of the control group; between the test group of higher vocational nursing students to the teaching effect of feedback evaluation five aspects scores were higher than that of the control group. The experimental group comparison:the class of 2013 vocational nursing students in learning style effect feedback evaluation score is higher than that of the class of 2012.Conclusion; Reality teaching model is an effective practicing training method for basic nursing skills. By teaching and training, improving nursing students’basic skills, comprehensive ability, learning ability and learning effect of nursing students might be improved. Thus, hospital-based class from higher vocational college nursing will be beneficial to nursing education.
