Observation Over The Efficacy Of Gubeichuangyu Powder In Promoting Postoperative Wound Healing In Patients With Simple And Low Anal Fistulas

Objectives:To observe the clinical effects of Gubeichuangyu powder in promoting postoperative wound healing in patients with simple and low anal fistulas through clinical observation and explore the relationship among wound healing,wound edema,pain and effusion in patients with simple and low anal fistulas.Methods:120 patients with simple and low anal fistulas were chosen and divided into treatment group(40 cases),rivanol group(40 cases) and Saimeian powder group(40 cases) randomly.Patients in the treatment group took the Gubeichuangyu powder with rivanol gauze for external application everyday after operations;Patients in the rivanol group took rivanol gauze for external application only everyday after operations; Patients in the Saimeian powder group took the Saimeian powder with rivanol gauze for external application everyday after operations.Adjunctive therapies among the three groups were all the same.Observed healing time,granulation growth,granulation edema,effusion,dosage of oxycodone & acetaminophen tablets in the first week after operations,recorded integrals of aforesaid indexes,compared therapeutic effect among three group.Results:1,There were significant differences(p＜0.001)on healing time,dosage of oxycodone & acetaminophen tablets in the first week after operations between treatment group and rivanol group.There were significant differences(p＜0.001)on the two indexes between treatment group and Saimeian powder group.2,There were significant differences(p=0.047)on granulation growth between treatment group and rivanol group and there was no difference(p=0.401) between treatment group and Saimeian powder group.3,There were significant differences(p=0.021)on granulation edema between treatmen,t group and rivanol group and there were significant differences (p=0.016)between treatment group and Saimeian powder group.4,There were significant differences(p=0.047)on effusion between treatment group and rivanol group and there was no difference(p=0.754) between treatment group and Saimeian powder group. 5,Safety Observation:Six perianal eczema patients were found among the 120 patients during the observation,four of them belonged to rivanol group,and two of them belonged to Saimeian powder group,while no patient was found in the treatment group.Our preliminary view was that it was caused by the excessive exudate,and after we washed the perianal skin with kushen decoction,the itching and perianal skin lesions disappeared.There was no abnormal indicator which had clinical significance in the blood test,liver function test and so on.Conclusion:1,Gubeichuangyu powder has efficiencies of relieving postoperative pain and reducing effusion,and the curative effects are better than Saimeian powder.2,Gubeichuangyu powder has efficiencies of promoting healing of the wound and decreasing edema of the granulation,and the curative effects are better than Saimeian powder.3,Gubeichuangyu powder is an effective and safe externally applied agent.
