The Clinical Research Of Baijie Powder Promote Low Simple Anal Fistula Of Postoperative Wound Healing

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of Baijie Powder on wound healing of after surgery on simple low anal fistula. To explore the ability of Baijie Powder on reduce the edema of margin after fistula, promoting granulation tissue growth and shorten healing time,accelerate granulation tissue fibroblast proliferation, provide a reliable basis for future clinical application.Methods60 cases comply with simple low anal fistula were including in the clinical trial in Anorectal Branch of First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese medicine during July 2013 to April 2014. All cases were divided into treatment group(n=30) and control group(n=30) randomly according to random number table. After accepted the relevant checks and signed procedure informed consent, all patients were accepted conventional treatment after the day of low anal fistula surgery with spinal anesthesia.Patients in treatment group were accepted wound dressing with Baijie Powder, while patients in control group were accepted wound dressing with vaseline each day. Others treatment on the patients depends on the disease situation, the use of concomitant medication must be detailed in the table. The safety and adverse events were monitored during the treatment process, the clinical efficacy were assessed at the end. the wound edema, granulation tissue growth and number of fibroblasts were recorded at 7th and14 th day after the surgery respectively. The duration of complete wound healing in two groups were statistic analysis.ResultsThe age, gender, disease duration, wound area were statistical analysis before the treatment between the two groups and there was no statistical differences, all patients accepted the safe treatment in the trial and adverse events did not appear.(1)The cure rate, the rate of wound healing, healing time: Symptoms and signs were disappeared after treatment between the two groups, with a total clinical efficacy was 100%, cure rate in the treatment group was superior than the control group(P<0.05); the rate of wound healing in the treatment group was superior than the control group at the 14 th and 21 th day by H test(P <0.01); the healing time in the treatment group was excellent than the control group(P <0.01).(2)Wound edema, granulation tissue growth: Edema scores has no significant difference between the two groups at 3th day(P > 0.05), however, there was a significant difference between the two groups at 7th and 14 th day by the rank sum test(P <0.01).granulation tissue growth scores were statistically different between the two groups at3 th, 7th and 14 th day(P <0.05). Compared with the control group, the patients in treatment group has a better situation on margin range heavy feeling and edema,granulation tissue growth conditions.(3) The number of fibroblast: Compared with the control group, the number of fibroblasts in treatment group was significantly increased at 7th and 14 th day(P <0.05),the treatment group, the number of fibroblasts in the muscle cuts was significant different.ConclusionBaijie Powder has the function of swelling to rot and myogenic, can relieve wound edema after anal fistula surgery, promoting granulation tissue growth, fibroblast proliferation and promote wound healing. Baijie Powder has good treatment effect and no significant side effects for anal fistula surgery healing, it is worth dressing in clinical application.
