1.Objective:To assess therapeutic effect on electro-acupuncture at Jiaji(EX-B) for the treatment of upper extremity spasticity for post-stroke patients.2.Method:Choose 60 cases of upper extremity spastic paralysis after stroke were randomly divided into two groups.30 cases in the treatment group were treated with electro-acupuncture at JiaJi acupoints;and 30 cases in the control group were treated with traditional acupuncture therapy of adopting only the points of the channel of Yangming.The evaluation of the functional rehabilitation was carried out by themethods of Ashworth and Fugl-Meyer.3.Result:Compare therapeutic effect of two groups after treatment.The degree of two groups are both decline.But the effect of electro-acupuncture group between before treatment and after treatment has statistics significance(P<0.05).And the effect of the control group has not statistics significance(P>0.05).The scores of two groups about Fugl-Meyer were very significant between before treatment and after treatment(P<0.05).The electro-acupuncture group is better than the control group on Fugl-Meyer4.Conclusion:Electro-aeupuncture at Jiaji can alleviate spasticity,accelerate the recovery of motor performance,improve the ability of daily life,and Promote the recovery of neuronal function.
