Clinical Study Of Treating Chronic Cholecystitis Of Damp-heat Syndrome Of The Liver And Gallbladder With Lidantang

Objective:To observe the effect of Lidantang(LDT) on Chronic Cholecystitis and explore the mechanism of it. Methods: 60 patients with Chronic Cholecystitis were divided into two groups at random: the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group was given LDT, and the control group was given Danqingpian(DQP).5 weeks were set as a course of treatment.The clinical effects of each group were observed during the course and the follow-up survey of 6 months.Results: The effective of syndrome of TCM,B-ultrasound observing of the treatment group are better than that of the control group (P<0. 01 or P<0. 05). LDT can improve more significantly the symptoms such as hypochondriac pain,mouth dryness,bitter taste,nausea,and stool imbanlance than DQP(P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusions:LDT appears to have the significant effect in the treatment of Chronic Cholecystitis. The mechanism of this therapy may be relation to relieving antisepsis and anti-inflammation,expelling calculi,choleretic effect and the modulation of immunity.
