The Study Of Syndrome Type Characteristics,Syndrome Factors And Laws Of Administering Medicines Of Pain Syndrome (Pain) Based On Data Mining

Objective:To reveal the syndrome type characteristics and syndrome factors and regulations of administering medicines of pain syndrome by applying data mining techniques;and establish frequent item sets and the analyzing model of association rules; and find the correlativities among disease and syndrome and medicine.Significance:To provide theoretical supports for the study of pain syndrome in the future, and also provide objective bases for clinical medicine application at the same time,and provide guidable meanings for the treatment of pain syndrome.Methods:1.This subject searches literatures about pain syndrome and pain in database of china knowledge network(CNKI) from1996 to 2007,finally we get 1015 standard literatures.2.We make the names of diseases,syndromes,syndrome factors,prescriptions and medicines into unified standard datas.3.To establish database by using Microsoft Excel,and then we change original datas into statistical datas,and introduce into SPSS13.0 statistical software and make descriptive statistical analysis.For example,we analyze sex and age of patients,diseases,syndromes,syndrome factors,prescriptions,medicines,pharmacological effects and property flavors and attributive channels of medicines with frequencies and means and so on.And then we use frequent item sets and analysis of the association rule to analyze herbs combination and between medicines and syndrome factors by applying Apriori arimethic in SPSS Clementine11.1 software.Results:1.We collect 1015 cases about pain syndrome by making standard and get 190 diseases,47 diseases by TCM diagnosis,the top ten diseases among them are arthralgia syndrome,stomachache,chest stuffiness and pains,dysmenorrhea,hypochondriac pain,lumbago,headache,abdominal pain,pantalgia after childbirth,mammary lump;143 diseases by western medical diagnostics,the top ten diseases among them are chronic gastritis,rheumatoid arthritis,angina pectoris,rheumatic arthritis,mammary hyperplasia,trigeminal neuralgia,gastroduodenal ulcer,cholecystitis,gout,migraine. 2.We are classifying pain syndrome according to basic pathogenesis,576 cases excess syndrome,350 cases deficiency complicated with excess syndrome,89 cases deficiency syndrome.3.The disease totally involves in 247 syndrome types by resolution,of which top twelve syndrome types are respectively syndrome of blood stasis with qi stagnation,syndrome of wind-cold-damp arthralgia,syndrome of collateral retardation due to blood stasis,syndrome of turbid phlegm and blood stasis,syndrome of deficiency of both qi and blood,syndrome of stagnation of liver qi,syndrome of asthenia of the liver and kidney,syndrome of block of cold-dampness,blood stasis syndrome,dampness-heat syndrome,syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis,syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency.4.We get 51 syndrome factors according to resoluting 247 syndrome types,which include 26 disease location syndrome types and 25 nature of disease syndrome types.The top10 disease location syndrome types are liver,meridian and collateral,kidney,spleen,stomach,heart,gallbladder,intestine,uterus,exterior;the top ten nature of disease syndrome types are blood stasis,dampness,cold,heat,qi stagnation,qi deficiency,yang deficiency,wind,blood deficiency,sputum.5.Prescriptions are applied in clinical literatures about pain syndrome,according to the statistical analysis,frequencies of modified prescriptions are 554,frequencies of self-made prescriptions are 461.Prescriptions are commonly used from high to low which are modified Danggui Sini decoction,modified decoction for removing blood stasis,modified Huangqi Guizhi wuwu decoction,modified Sini powder,modified Shaoyao Gancao decoction,modified Wutou decoction,modified Guizhi decoction,modified decoction invigorating yang for recuperation,modified Chaihu Shugan powder,modified Duhuo Jisheng decoction.Modified prescriptions involve 18 different efficacies,the orders of arrangement are blood-regulating prescriptions,wetness-eliminating prescriptions,interior-warming prescriptions,reconciliatory prescriptions,tonic prescriptions and so on.6.439 herbs are totally applied in 1015 cases,according to the statistical analysis,common herbs used are Danggui,Gancao,Baishao,Guizhi,Huangqi,Chaihu,Baizhu,Chishao,Danshen,Taoren,Honghua and so on.We classify types of 80 herbs more than 50 times, the types of herbs are mostly centralized in tonics,promoting blood circulation drugs,diaphoretics,antipyretics,qi regulating drugs,antirheumatics and so on.7.Pharmacological effects of the top 80 herbs according to the statistical analysis rank in anti-inflammation,anti-tumor,immune regulation,anti-pathogenic microorganism,analgesia,liver protection,antioxidation,eliminating free radical,antihypertensive,effects on cardiac anti-platelet aggregation and so on.8.Properties and flavors and attributive channels of medicines of the top 80 herbs according to the statistical analysis,flavors of medicines rank in bitter,acrid,sweet,sour,light,salt;properties of medicines rank in warm,cold,calm,heat;attributive channels of medicines rank in liver,spleen,heart,lung,stomach,kidney,large intestine,gallbladder,pericardium,triple energizer meridian,small intestine.9.We get common drug combinations(2herbs,3herbs,4herbs)and the relationships of herbs(2herbs,3herbs,4herbs),and the relationships of drugs and syndrome factors, according to association rule analysis.Conclusion:1.Clinical treatment of pain syndrome is mainly on the basis of integration of western medicine and TCM.The common diseases are mainly concerned with internal diseases and surgical diseases and gynecological diseases.2.Pathogenesis of pain syndrome is mainly excess syndrome at the initial stage,with the lapse of time,qi-blood and yin-yang are injuried easily,so deficiency complicated with excess syndrome and deficiency syndrome appear at the late stage.3.Diagnosis of pain syndrome is mainly based on qi-blood syndrome differentiation,five syndrome types of top 12 syndrome types belong to qi-blood syndrome differentiation, which respectively are syndrome of blood stasis with qi stagnation,syndrome of collateral retardation due to blood stasis,syndrome of deficiency of both qi and blood,blood stasis syndrome,syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis.4.Blood stasis is main in nature of disease syndrome types and liver is main in disease location syndrome types of pain syndrome.5.Blood-regulating prescriptions are mainly used in treatment of pain syndrome,of which representative prescription is modified decoction for removing blood stasis. 6.Many herbs may relieve pain,according to the study of modern pharmacology. Pharmacological effects of drugs of treatment of pain syndrome have anti-inflammation,anti-tumor,immune regulation,anti-pathogenic microorganism,analgesia.7.Properties of medicines are mainly warm,cold,calm;flavors of medicines are bitter,acrid,sweet;attributive channels of medicines are liver channel,spleen channel,heart channel.8.Drug compatibilities mainly use tonics and promoting blood circulation drugs, accompany by qi regulating drugs,drugs for dispelling cold,antirheumatics insect drugs and so on.Pay attention to balance between qi-blood and yin-yang,simultaneous elimination and reinforcement.9.Association rule is a feasible method to analyze the laws of drugs compatibility and relationships of syndrome factors and drugs.
