A Research On Laws Of TCM Syndrome And Characteristics Of Chinese Medicinal Herbs Of RNS Based On Data Mining

ObjectiveTo analyze the literature on Refractory Nephrotic Syndrome(RNS)by using data mining techniques and to reveal the laws of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome and characteristics of Chinese medicinal herbs of RNS.MethodsAfter searching literatures on RNS in datebase of CNKI,VIP Datebase and China Info,screening literature according to inclusion and excluding criteria.After standardizing the names of TCM syndromes and drugs of the input literature date,we extracted syndrome factors,to establish a datebase about TCM syndrome and characteristics of medication of RNS.We analyzed TCM syndromes,syndrome factors and medicine with frequency statistics method,and we also analyzed the category,nature and flavor,meridian tropism of medicine,as well as the dosage of herbs commonly used for RNS.We used analysis of the association rule to explore the relationships between Chinese medicinal herbs and common syndromes.Results1.The 288 standard literatures involved 45 syndrome patterns,which included 18 deficiency syndromes,21 excess syndromes and 6 deficiency complicated with excess syndromes.The high-frequency syndrome patterns were yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome,damp-heat syndrome,qi-yin deficiency syndrome,syndrome of blood stasis and qi deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome.We extracted 21 syndrome factors,which included 6 disease location syndrome factors and 15 disease nature syndrome factors.The main syndrome factors of disease location were kidney and spleen,and the main syndrome factors of disease nature were yin deficiency,qi deficiency,dampness,yang deficiency,heat and blood stasis.2.There were 247 herbs in 568 prescriptions of standard literatures.And the total frequency of the herbs was 6168.The herbs used more than 200 times were Astragalus,Poria,Baizhu,yam,Cornus officinalis,Salvia miltiorrhiza,dried rehamnnia root,Alisma.Among of them,the average dosage of Astragalus and Salvia miltiorrhiza was the biggest,29.72 g and 19.95 g respectively.3.The 247 herbs involved 19 categories.Drugs that mostly used in the treatment of RNS were those to reinforce deficiency,clear heat,clearing dampness and promote diuresis,promote blood circulation,and astringent medicine.The herbs were mainly to the kidney,liver,spleen and lung meridian.The mainly tastes were sweet,bitter,acrid,sour,light.And cold,warm,ping were the mainly nature.4.According to association rule analysis,we got the common compatibility in the treatment of RNS and the relationships between medication and common syndromes.Conclusion1.The diseases location of RNS mainly focus on kidney and spleen,involving liver and lung.2.Solid for this empty sign,actual situation mixture is the pathological features of RNS.Yin deficiency,qi deficiency and yang deficiency are the key factors of RNS.And dampness,heat and blood stasis cause RNS to become so complex,entangling,and difficult to cure.3.Tonic-based and eliminating pathogenic factors are the basic principle for treatment on RNS.In clinical,the combination of tonifying Qi,inducing diuresis to alleviate edema,removing pathogenic heat from blood,promoting blood circulation,tonifying blood,tonifying Yin and astringent medicine are commonly used to treat RNS.
