Clinical Study Of Xiao-Zhi-Gu-Tuo Ointment In The Treatm

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect and safety of xiao-zhi-gu-tuo ointment in the treatment of hemorrhoid,and to search for a new method which is suitable for clinical application of hemorrhoid.Method:128 cases of hemorrhoid patients are enrolled in the study and randomly divided into two groups.i.e.study group (n=63) and control group(n=65).The study group is treated by xiao-zhi-gu-tuo ointment provided by Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine.The control group is treated by jiu-hua ointment supplied by Tianjin pharmaceutical group corporation.The use of the medication is two times each day for external use.The period of the treating is 10 days.To oberse the clinical efficacy of internal hemorrhoid,external hemorrhoid and the mixed hemorrhoid after one period,inclouded bleeding,ache,prolapse, edema,swelling.Observation and satistics were maken both before and after the treatment.Results:(1)Significant different clinical effects between the two groups in the treatment of hemorrhoid before and after the treatment.The treatment group were much better than the control group(P＜0.05).(2) Significant different clinical effects in each group in the treatment of symptoms score before and after the treatment (P＜0.05).Significant different clinical effects between the two groups in the treatment of symptoms score before and after the treatment(P＜0.01).The treatment group were much better than the control group.(3)Significant different clinical effects between the two groups in the treatment of internal hemorrhoid external hemorrhoid and the mixed hemorrhoid before and after the treatment.The treatment group were much better than the control group(P＜0.05).(4)Both groups have clinical effect after the treatment in the main symptoms(P＜0.05).The study group is superior to the control group after the treatment in the main symptoms(P＜0.05).Conclusion:(1) Xiao-zhi-gu-tuo ointment has remarkabe clinical effect in the treatment of internal hemorrhoid,external hemorrhoid and the mixed hemorrhoid,much better than the control group.(2)Xiao-zhi-gu-tuo ointment has notable clinical effect in the main symptomi.e bleeding,ache,prolapse,edema,swelling.(3)Xiao-zhi-gu-tuo ointment has marked Sheti-Huina-Guse action.It is suitable to treat all kinds of hemorrhoids.
