| Objective:Vertigo due to vertebrobasilar insufficiency is eldery' s common,frequently-occurring disease.Characteristic its for break out repeatedly,touching to heal while being difficult,easy to cause acute brain blood vessel disease,At present,the treatment to VBI,because of wide application of medicine such as flunarizine,nimodipine and so on,have great improvement,but it no matter adopt medication or operation teatment,and its recuring rate is relatively high.So how to improve efficiency and reduce the recuring rate remain clinician's untiring goal that pursues further.In recent years traditional chinese medicine teats the vertebra the basis artery blood supply ang makes greater progress insufficientlydizzily.Traditional chinese medicine there are obvious advantages to the whole improvement which follows the symptom,is especially alleviating one.Traditional chinese medicine can display reinvigoration treatment differently according to the patient,reduce the dizzy recurring In this paper,we had reviewed and summarized the cognition and development of Chinese medicine and western medicine on this disease.The etiolog,pathology,treatmen principle and treatment method were discussed at the same time.Based on Chinese and modern medical theories about VBI, we probe into the pathogenic mechanism and demonstrate that the main pathogenesis which lead to vetigo with VBI is blood deficiency,stagnition of phlegm and blood stasis and the main theraputic policy is to invigorating blood,activate phlegm and banish stasis.YANGXUETONGMhI prescription developed according to pathogenic mechanism of VBI has this function.Method:In this research,76 patients with VBI were randomly divided into two groups.One group accepted the treatment of YANGXUETONGMAI prescription(Jixuetng 30g,heshouwu 15g,guqi 12g,huangqi 15g,danshen 15g,Chuangxiong 15g,jiangbanxia 12g,zexie 12g tianma 15g,gouteng 15ggegen 15gshanzhuyu 12g) combined Nimodipine;the other accepted Nimodipine as control. The whole duration of treatment was 3 weeks.We tested some related parameters such as blood stream dynamics,blood rheology,and so on.Result:(1)Treat group fully recover 12,shoe 19 of result,take a favorable turn 10,have 2 more invalid,always efficient 95.34%; Contrast group fully recover 5,shoe 10 of result,take a favorable turn 12,have 6 more invalid,always efficient 81.82%, Examined by Ridit,P<0.05.(2)The chinise medicine card waits curative effect to compare:Two group medicine lack to vertebra-basis artery courage and Uprightness dizzy Chinise medicine that card wait patient always efficient for significance difference(p<0.05).It is treat group obviously superior to contrasting the group to chinise medicine improvement that card waits to brief on.(3)The blood flows mechanics is compared in the cranium:Treat group and contrast group vertebra artery,basis artery blood average velocity of flow have significance difference before treating(p>0.05).Contrast group and blood average velocity of flow,artery of vertebra and artery of basis higher than(p<0.05).Blood average velocity of flow,artery of vertebra and artery of basis higher than contrast(p<0.05).(4)Blood rheology compared:Compare beofre and arfter treatnig the group and treating,red blood corpuscles gather index,the whole blood reudce viscidity,red blood corpuscles Pigeonhole accumulate,the whole blood hihg cut,the whole blood low reducing and red blood corpuscles out of shape risin g remarkbale(p<0.01),The plasma is high to cut and reduce (p<0.05).Contrast group compare in front and at the back of treating,red blood corpuscles gather index,the whole blood reduce viscidity reduce(p<0.01),Red blood corpuscles pigeohole accumulate,the whole blood low cut,high to is it reudce(p<0.05).Difference relatively has a remarkable meaning(p<0.05).Conclusion:The results indicated that the combination application with YANGXUETONGMAI prescription and Nimodipine is an effective method to this disease.It also puts Porward ideas forcontinuous research on YANGXUETONGMAI prescription in the future.
