Research On The Formation, Current State And Development Strategy Of Nursing Subject System Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Nursing of Traditional Chinese Medicine(NTCM) is a subject of ancient origin and long development.This research summarized the formation course of NTCM overall.After liberation,NTCM has developed quickly and established initially academic theoretic system and education system.1,Current State of NTCMNTCM is in its early development phase at present and has many serious problems on the elementary issue of subject development.They are shown next.(1) Academic theoretic system of NTCM is same as Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).NTCM has no special academic theoretic system different from TCM.They have similar academic feature.This is the most severe question.(2) Clinical nursing practice have seldom content of NTCM.Nursing technique of Western Medicine(WM) is main in clinical nursing practice.Technique of NTCM belongs to that of TCM.There is short of the feature of nursing.So members of NTCM have no self-confidence.(3) Clinical nursing administration doesn't aim directly at NTCM.In current nursing practicing,administration on human resources and material resources has no profit for NTCM,and even restricts the role of NTCM,which induced the vicious cycle.(4) Education-course system of NTCM which have a severe tendency of Westernize needs reforming and developing urgently.Knowledge of Modern nursing is main and that of NTCM was reduced continuous.Higher education system is deviating the basic objective which are culturing talented people to develop the subject of NTCM.(5) Nursing scientific research of TCM is falling behind.The main object is too uncertain to develop a clear subject location,and the team of scientific researcher is very small.The level of research methods and contents is low.The quantity and quality of published thesis are few and low respectively.(6) NTCM is still not a profession.We analyzed NTCM according to profession character of nursing profession.NTCM has not higher education system with enough extent,professional academic periodical,good scientific research system and special theoretic system.So NTCM cannot be looked as a profession.2,Putting forward some development strategies to aim directly at NTCM(1)Promoting scienctific development of NTCM education system.It is important to keep the direction of NTCM education system aiming at NTCM in TCM universities. Multistrata education system and professional training system need to be established.(2) Enhancing national administration system to NTCM.Bring into full play the leading role of NTCM society.Establishing special research found to NTCM to encouraging the professional of NTCM to make research.Setting up special periodical of NTCM.(3) Deciding the objective and content,and enhancing research of NTCM.â‘ Studying on the theoretic system of NTCM.Researching on theoretic connotation of the relations between NTCM and TCM and those between NTCM and nursing of western medicine.It is urgent to make clear the subject character of NTCM.â‘¡Studying on the clinical practice system of NTCM including clinical operation technique,clinical theory and technique to special division and special diseases,and clinical nursing administration system in NTCM.(4) The focal point of NTCM is to research and develop community care of TCM at present.Community care is similar with NTCM in theoretic connotation,nursing technique and culture foundation.Community care of TCM will exhibit the ascendancy of prevention,life-cultivation,health care,recovery from illness and healthy education in clinical practice(5) Scientific researcher must try to refer to the development experiences of those countries which are advanced in nursing subject,thus the scientific research of NTCM can maintain a strong developing energy.This will help to make up for each other's deficiencies and develop smoothly.This research will give some references for the development of NTCM.
