Expression Of Fractalkine And CX3CR1 In Skin Lesion Of Patients With Psoriasis Vulgaris

【Objective】To explore the role of Fractalkine/ CX3CR1 in the formation and progression of psoriasis, and to study the correlation between Fractalkine/ CX3CR1 expression with PASI.【Methods】The expression of Fractalkine was examined by immunohistochemical analysis in serial sections of psoriasis biopsies obtained from 26 patients, 8 samples on the edge 0.5cm and 15 normal controls.【Results】Fractalkine were strongly expressed on endothelial cells and keratocytes in skin lesions of patients with psoriasis but not in normal skin, or Lesser expression on the edge 0.5cm(x2=17.571, p<0.05)/(x2=12.305, p<0.05) .The expression of Fractalkine in psoriasis lesions was well correlated with PASI (r=0.6097, p<0.01).【Conclusions】Fractalkine / CX3CR1 play an initial role in the psoriasis, can be a target for the treatment.
