Experiment 1 established the normal control group, the negative control group (Ovariectomized), the experimental group (Ovariectomized + Puerarin), the positive control groupâ… (Ovariectomized + DES) and the positive control groupâ…¡(Ovariectomized + DES+P). To researches about the effects of Puerarin on mammary glands growth, the Uteruses growth, weight gain and the changes of the serum hormone contents in mice at the age of 21d .The experimental results showed that:1. Comparison of the negative control group (Ovariectomized) with the normal control group, the changes in all Parameters are as follows: the mice growth changed slowness, That is, the total increment of the weight decreased (P<0.01); The growth of mammary glands and the Uteruses which are the target organ of the mice ovary hormone were restricted, That is, mammary glands ductus and gland steep amounts decreased(P<0.01), the mammary gland parenchyma/mammary gland circumscription values degraded (P<0.01), the Uteruses coefficient degraded (P<0.01), the Endometria gland amounts decreased(P<0.05); The serum Destradio(lE2)contents degraded(P<0.05), the Progesterone(P)contents degraded(P<0.05), Growth Hormone(GH)contents increased (P<0.05), Prolactin(PRL)contents has no significant difference (P>0.05) .2. Comparison of the two positive control group(groupâ… and groupâ…¡) with the negative control group,the changes in all Parameters are as follows: the two groups all can promote the growth of the mice, That is, the weight gain significantly increased in the first week(P<0.05); The growth of mice mammary glands and the Uteruses continue to develop, That is, mammary glands ductus and gland steep amounts increased(P<0.05), The mammary gland parenchyma/mammary gland circumscription values all significantly increased, the difference is respectively P<0.05 and P<0.01; The Uteruses coefficient increased (P<0.05); The Endometria gland amounts increased(P<0.05); The serum Destradiol(E2)contents has no significant difference (P>0.05), The serum Progesterone ( P ) contents increased(P<0.05), Growth Hormone ( GH ) contents degraded(P<0.05), Prolactin(PRL)contents has no significant difference (P>0.05).3. Compared with the negative control group, the total weight gain of the mice in the experimental group(Ovariectomized + Puerarin) has significantly increased (P<0.05).The growth-promoting function of Puerarin is not obvious, and compared with the negative group there was no significant difference in the total weight gain in the first week(P>0.05); The all Parameters of mice mammary glands and the Uteruses slightly raised, but has no significant difference compared with negative group(P>0.05); The serum Destradiol(E2)contents raised in the certain extent, has no significant difference compared with normal control group(P>0.05), and has no significant difference compared with the negative group either(P>0.05) Compared with the negative group ,the Progesterone(P)contents significantly increased(P<0.05) , Growth Hormone(GH)contents significantly degraded(P<0.05), Prolactin(PRL)contents has no significant difference(P>0.05).Experiment 2 established the control group and experimental group, we exhibited the female mice. We gave distilled water to the control group,Puerarin physic liquor to the experimental group. The experiment carried out researches about the effects of Puerarin on the quantity of the lactation of the production mice and the weight gain of infant mice. The experimental results showed that:Compared with the control group, Puerarin has the trend of helping the mice to lactate, and raised the weight gain of infant mice, but has no significant difference(P>0.05).The above results show that, Puerarin has the same function of DES and DES+P on the serum hormone level in ovariectomized mice, but the function of stimulating on Mammary gland and Uteruses which are the main target organs of Estrogen is not obvious; It has the certain function of animal health care; The function of helping lactate is not obvious. This experiment provide the experience basis for the developing and applying the Estrogen which is having no side effects, purely natural, and replace the drugs, or the animal health care's drugs.
