Clinical Observation Of Compound Xing Lou Chengqi Prescription Facilitating Bowel Movement On Treating Acute Cerebral Infarction

[Objective] To investigate the curative effect of compound Xing Lou Chengqi prescription on treating patients with acute cerebral infarction, in order to provide an objective clinical research evidence for Chinese medicine treatment with acute cerebral infarction by the way of facilitating bowel movement.[Method] Set appropriate standards and exclude the cases observed by the use of randomized controlled methods, acute cerebral infarction patients were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment on comparative group is expanding the capacity of blood, appropriate dehydrating, anti-platelet aggregation, improving cerebral circulation and metabolism to prevent the flow of calcium ions, and other common treatment methods. The test group on the basis were given compound Xing Lou Chengqi prescription through a taste of oral, seven days for treatment. After the treatment we calculated the tow groups' average daily stool frequency, the manual muscle test, neurological impairment index and the Barthel index. Then we did a statistical analysis to explore the differences in effect.[Results] By the way of paired t test, after the treatment the average stool frequency of the test group significantly increased (P <0. 01), the average stool frequency of comparative group also increased (P <0. 05), but the test group increased in the number of stool is more obvious (P <0. 01), and adopted by the treatment of highly relevant. There is no significant difference about the manual muscle test of the tow groups(P> 0.05), the improvement of nerve function loss were different (P <0. 05) and the Barthel index in activities of daily living after treatment was significantly different (P <0. 01).[Conclusion] (1)The treatment by compound Xing Lou Chengqi prescription toacute cerebral infarction can significantly increase patients' defecation, itis effective for patients suffered acute cerebral infarction with constipation. (2) With the facilitating bowel movement caused by compound Xing Lou Chengqi prescription, patients suffered acute cerebral infarction achieve more neurological recovery, more Barthel index improvement and higher quality of life. (3) The results of this research for compound Xing Lou Chengqi prescription about the treatment of acute cerebral infarction provided a objective clinical evidence.
