Objective:To study changes of serum levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP in patients with acute cerebral infarction,explore the chinese traditional medical functions and modern medical functions of MMP-9 and hsCRP in the pathogenesis of acute cerebral infarction,study the influnce and functions of xing ding injection in anti inflammatory treatment.Methods:In my study,we enrolled 40 acute ischemic stroke patients,according to the standard of the traditional chinese medical typing and quantization,all patients were divided into light symptom group and moderate symptom group and serious symptom group,every group was divided into conventional treatment group and xing ding injection treatment group. conventional treatment group received ordinary treatment,xing ding injection treatment group received ordinary treatment and injected xing ding injection 20 ml via vein every day.all patients' blood samples were collected at days 1,3,5,and 14 atfer stork onset,serum levels of MMP-9 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent ssay(ELISA),and hsCRP levels were detected by particle-enhanced turbidimetric immunoassay(PETIA).then analysised the relationship between levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP and inflammatory injury,analysised the relationship between levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP and the typing of chinese traditional medcine,in the end we also investegated the influnce of xing ding injection.Results:1.The Serum levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP on 1st day,3rd day,5th day and 14th day in patients with acute cerebral infarction increased remarkably as compaired with the control group(P<0.01).The level from 3rd day to 5th days also increased remarkably as compaired with the level of the 14th day.There was a positive correlation between the increasing degree of MMP-9 and hsCRP(P<0.05).2.The Serum levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP were related with the Chinese traditional medical typing,Serum levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP in serious symptom group with conventional treatment(c group) was higher than that in moderate symptom group with conventional treatment(b group) and light symptom with conventional treatment(a group) at 1st,3rd day and 5th day after storke onset. 3.The Serum levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP of moderate symptom group(B group) and serious symptom group(C group) with xing ding injection treating was lower than conventional treatment groups respectively(b group,c group) at the 3rd day and 5th day,significant statistical differences between them were observed(P<0.05).Serum levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP of serious symptom group(C group) with xing ding injection treating at the 3rd day were lower than that at the 5th day,significant statistical differences between them were observed(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between light symptom group(A group) with xing ding injection treating and light symptom group(a group) with conventional treatment(P>0.05).4.The scale of the clinical neurological function deficient was improved,significant statistical differences between them were observed(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Ischemic stroke may cause the increasing degree of MMP-9 and hsCRP and change dynamicly.There was a positive correlation between the increasing degree of MMP-9 and hsCRP.Both MMP-9 and hsCRP may joint the progress of acute cerebral inflammatory infarction and influnce each other,which may enhance acute cerebral infarction further.2.Serum levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP were related with the typing of chinese traditional medcine,may reflect wind,fire,phlegm and blood stasis of chinese traditional medcine.which support the inflammatory theory of chinese traditional medcine.3.xing ding injection can reduce the serum levels of MMP-9 and hsCRP and improve the clinical neurological function effectively,the possible mechanism was that it can reduce the up-regulation degree of the synthesis of MMP-9,reduce the pathology damage from inflammation after cerebral ischemia,reduce the cerebral edema and improve the blood circulation of partial brain.
