Clinical Study Of Tong Lie Shu Capsule For Chronic Prostatitis

Objective:To study the clinical curative effect of Tong Lie Shu capsule on Patients of chronic Prostatitis with syndromes of stagnation of humid heat and blood stasisMethods:The study adopted random,and research method.In this study,60 cases of chronic Prostatitis were divided randomly into two grops of which treatment group had 30 eases and control group had 30 cases.The Patients of treatment group were given Tong Lie Shu capsule,While those in control group were given Qian lie ping capsuele.All Patients Of the two groups were treated for 4 weeks.The following aspects had been done during the research:[1]To evaluate the totalcurtreatment.[2]To reeord the seores of NIH chronic Prostatitis syndrome index.[3]To evaluate Pressing Pain on Prostate.[4]To detect the amount of white blood cell in expressed prostate secretions[EPS].[5]To estimate the quality of life By SF-12 is a multipurpose short-form with only 12 questions,all selected from the sf-36 Health survey.It was developed to be a much shorter,yet valid,alternative to the sf-36].[6]To analyze the data by SpSS13.0 software.Results:Total clinical curative effeet after treatment:The treatment.group was83.33%,while the effective rate of 90.00%.The effeet of reatment group was better than that of control group,and had significant difference between the two groups,1,Curative effeet of integral of symptom after treatment:The effectiverate was83.33%,while the effeetive rate of control group was 90.00%.The effect of Treatment group was better than that of control group, and had significant difference between the two groups[P＜0.05].2,Seores of NIH Chronic Prostatitis syndrome index:The NIH-CPSI scores of pain or discomfort,quality of life And total score of treatment group had significant difference as compared with that of treatment[P＜0.05].3,Pressing Pain on prostate:The pressing pain onprostate of treatment was no better than that of control group after treatment and had not significant difference.5Count of white blood cell in EPS The changes of the count of white blood cell in EPS of treatment group were not significantly better than that of controlled after treament.4,Amount of lecithin in EPSl:the changes of the amount of lecithin of treatment group were not singificantly better than that of controlled after treatment[P＞0.05]。Conelusion:In traditional Chinese medicine's eyes,the main Pathologic change of CP is stagnation of humid heat.Tong lie shu capsule had significicant curative effect on lmproving clinical symptoms.Tong lie shu capsule owns good curative effect.
