Objective:Observation on the clinical efficacy of the treatment on cervical spondylotic vertybral ateriopathy by moxibustion with warming needle on dazhui pointMethods:50 cases of cervical spondylotic vertybral ateriopathy were randomly divided into treatment and control groups. In the treatment group, all the patients received warming acupuncture on dazhui point with combination of Houxi,Baihui, and Fengchi. In the control group, all the patients received acupuncture on Houxi,Baihui, and Fengchi points. Before and after 1 treatment course, all the patients of the 2 groups received examination of transcranial Doppler detection, cervical spondylosis Clinical Evaluation Scale score to observe the condition changes, from which we could determine efficacy.Result:Vertical comparison of the same group:using improved cervical disease clinical evaluation form to score, the score before treatment of the 2 groups was 9.4±1.8,10.3±2.1, the score after treatment was 20.751±3.7962,14.007±2.8253,we can see that the score of the two groups after reatment was significantly increased. In the treatment group,T test was used in comparision before-after treatment, finding that there was a significant difference of the score before and after treatment(P<0.001);and in the control group,T test was used in comparision before-after treatment, finding that there was a significant difference of the score before and after treatment(P<0.001);from the above we can see that the treatment are both effective in the two groups. There were significant differences(P<0.05)between the score of after and before treatment by analyzing average velocity(Vm),systolic blood flow velocity(VS),pulsatility index(PI)and resistance index(RI)of the Vertebral-basilar artery and the clinical evaluation of cervical disease Scale.Horizontal comparison of the two sets:By comparing the two groups before and after treatment using T test,we can find that there was no significant differences(P>0.05)of the score between the two groups before treatment, but significant differences(P<0.001)Of the score after treatment. The result presented that there was no significant differences of clinical score between the 2 patients before treatment and they were comparable. There was significant difference between the 2 groups' score after treatment, which noted that the effect of the treatment group to improve the clinical symptoms and signs, and other aspects was better than the control group. After treatment the detection of the transcranial Doppler data of the treatment group and control group were both significantly improved. And there was no significant differences(P>0.05)between the 2 groups in improving the average velocity(Vm),systolic blood flow velocity(VS)and other 4 indicators of the 2 side of the Vertebral-basilar artery. But Changes in the treatment group in the bilateral vertebral artery, basilar artery pulsatility index(PI),impedance index(RI),and other eight indicators, there are significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusions:By using T test to compare the relevant data,we can see that warming acupunture on dazhuito to treat cervical spondylopathy of vertibral artery can improve the symptoms, signs and functions as well as improving the blood supply of the Vertebral-basilar artery, treatment group is better than control group, from the Improved clinical evaluation form of the cervical disease for the two groups to evaluate the symptoms, signs and the function, and ranscranial Doppler to test the blood supply of the Vertebral-basilar artery.
