Objective: To design the theory training proposals of the standard entrance of specialized nurses in pediatric general surgery on the basis of the status quo, international background and tendency of the nursing science. According to the proposals, 10-month training project has been practised. And the standard entrance system has been set up by scientific evaluating. Methods: Normal-distrbution test, content validity, reliability, item discrimination and item defficulity of all the subject are used to estimate whether the tests are reasonable or not. T-test and Wilcoxon Sign-Rank Test are used for comparing the results of the training. Nurses self-evaluated the effects of traning through survey method. SPSS14.0 software is used for calculating during the research.Results: Analyzing the design proposals, the results of content validity, Cronbach'sɑ, item discrimination and item defficulity met the requirement of the test. The ability of transform theory knowledge into clinical practice has been enhanced during 10-month training in which nurses mastered the specialized technology and theory knowledge very well. 23% nurses could initially rearch the entrance standards of specialized nurses in the pecdiateric general surgery.Conclusions: Multi-analysis exhibited that the test design evaluated the status of the specilized theory knowledge learning exactly. The design and practice of the standard entrance system of specialized nurses in the pediatric general surgery were completed initially.
