| Common acne is the commonly and frequently encountered disease in the department of dermatology. It is a chronic phlogosis in the sebaceous glands of hair-follicles. The pathogenesis is complex, lingering and repeated, which seriously affects the living quality of the patients. Vitamin A acid and antibiotic medicines are the main measures of Western medicine to cure the common acne. But it usually has the characteristics of great minus effects and high-rate of relapse. We are researching on the traditional acupuncture therapy with easy operation, little minus effect and safe curative effect.This paper is researching on the clinic common acne therapy of quick puncture bleeding and cupping. My tutor, Professor Gao Shuzhong, has cured a lot of patients with acne in this way and achieved satisfactory effects. In order to exactly evaluate the effective and cure rate of this kind of therapy, a certain of patients were chosen to be cured in this way and be observed. The therapy cures the common acne mainly by the way of quick puncture bleeding on the big, middle, small toes and cupping on the reflecting points of the back. We treat acne abiding by the principle of"Promoting blood circulation, eliminating blood stasis and purging heat; making meridian through, eliminating dampness and acne."Through comparing with the common acupuncture therapy, observing the extinction of skin lesions before and after the therapy, and researching on the changes of indexes of serum and testosterone, the result is that the curative effect of the bloodletting and cupping team is apparently better than that of the common acupuncture team. The result of the comparison has the great significance of statistics. In addition, the therapy of bloodletting and cupping is easier and safer, which is better for the popularity and operation in the clinic. This research supplies a broader way of thinking for the bloodletting in the acne cure. It is a new attempt and exploration on curing the facial acne by bloodletting toes.
