| ObjectiveAcne is an inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicle.It has self limiting and repeated clinical features.There are many western medicine methods to cure this disease,including general and local medication,physical therapy,closed therapy and so on.However,there are also some deficiencies,such as short duration of treatment,relapse,allergy and drug rash,which limit the feasibility of acne treatment.This study was to compare the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and cupping combined with acupoint application and simple the former therapy in the treatment of damp-heat acne,to make an objective and reliable evaluation of efficacy,and explore a convenient,safe and effective way to provide beneficial reference for modern treatment of acne and provide safer choices for patients.MethodsAccording to the second edition of "clinical dermatology in China" and "guidelines for clinical research on new drugs of Chinese medicine" in 2002,this study selected 70 cases of acne vulgaris with damp-heat type,which were divided into 35 cases in the treatment group and the control group by random digital table.Treatment group was treated with pricking cupping combined with acupoint sticking therapy: 1.Blood-letting puncture and cupping:Dazhui,Feishu(double),Geshu(double)were selected for the first day of every week,and Weishu(double),Dachangshu(double)were selected for the fourth days with bloodletting and cupping,the two group acupoints used alternately.The specific operation was as follows: the patients were took the prone position and we located the acupoints and disinfected.Then used a disposable needle to puncture and bloodletting the acupoints quickly,the glass tank can be sucked out to the treatment part and indwelt about 8 minutes.It was treated 2 times a week for 4 weeks.2.acupoint application:The main acupoints Shenque,Zhongwan,Shuifen,Tianshu(double),Zusanli(double),Fenglong(double)were selected with facial points locally.Specific operation: take the Chinese herbal pieces rhubarb,scutellaria,coptis,angelica,borneol in the proportion of 10:5:5:5:1,single medicine was powdered and 100 mesh sieve,mixed evenly and stored it in a special stainless steel container.When used,it was made into a paste with warm water.The ointment was not loose and can be plastic.The prepared ointment was pressed into a thickness of 0.2 centimeter,and the diameter of the drug cake was about 1 centimeter in size.It was placed in the central area of the medical desensitization tape with the size of 5 centimeter,and was applied to the main points.The local facial acupoints were prepared with a good ointment,which were directly smeared.Lien 4 hours for 1 times a day,3 times a week and a total of 4 weeks.The control group only took blood-letting puncture and cupping like the former.After the end of treatments,skin lesion scores and TCM symptom scores were used as observation indicators.Skin lesion scores were used as evaluation indicators to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results(1)baseline comparisonThe age,sex,course of disease,disease,skin lesion scores and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were compared.The statistical analysis showed that P > 0.05 had no statistical significance,suggested that the data of the two groups were comparable.(2)an integral comparison of skin lesionsGroup comparison,the scores of skin lesions in the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before,with the t test of paired samples and P < 0.01,suggested that the two groups could effectively reduce the skin lesion integral of the patients and improve the inflammatory state of the patients' skin lesions.Compared with those in the control group,the scores of skin lesions in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the test of the independent samples,P < 0.05,it indicated that the treatment group had more advantages in reducing the scores of skin lesions.(3)compare the symptom scores of Chinese medicineIn the group comparison,the two groups of TCM symptom scores were significantly lower than before the treatment,through the rank and test,P < 0.01,suggested that the two groups could effectively improve the symptoms of Chinese medicine,such as skin greasy state,pruritus,pain,dry mouth,sleepiness,two stool and so on.The ratio between the groups was compared with the rank sum test,P < 0.05,suggested the treatment group has better effect in improving the symptoms of TCM.(4)comparison of total curative effectAfter the course of treatment,the results showed that 3 cases were cured,16 cases were markedly effective,10 cases were effective,3 cases were invalid and the total effective rate was 90.6% in the treatment group.And 2 cases were cured,9 cases were markedly effective,16 cases were effective,6 cases were invalid and the total effective rate was 81.8% in the control group.By rank sum test,P < 0.05,suggested that acupoint application combined with cupping is better than simple puncture and cupping.(5)comparison of adverse reactionsBetween the two groups,3 cases in the treatment group and 2 cases in the control group had mild adverse reactions.In the treatment group,there were 2 cases of skin pruritus,mild pain,no ulceration and swelling in the acupoint application,1 cases of small vesicles at the cupping and cupping area,and 2 cases in the control group at the cupping place.The adverse reactions of the two groups were all mild.After the corresponding treatment,the symptoms disappeared and did not affect the continuous treatment.(6)comparison of recurrence rateDue to factors such as time,manpower,and patient compliance,all the patients were not followed up,so a general assessment of some patients could only be carried out,so no statistical analysis was carried out.After follow-up,it was found that the law of diet and interest,the patients with pleasant feelings,the skin lesions gradually improved,recovered,and no recurrence,and the acne is also easier to relapse than those of poor living habits,such as staying up late,pungent,greasy,poor skin care habits and squeezing and squeezing,which indicates that the recurrence rate of acne may be associated with the life of the patients.Diet,skin care and other aspects of attention related nursing.Conclusions(1)This study indicated that cupping combined with acupoint sticking therapy and simple acupuncture cupping method for the treatment of damp heat type acne have curative effect,they can effectively reduce systemic lesions and the severity of the lesions,and improve the skin greasy feeling,ease acne pain and itching,relieve thirsty and urine and stool,discomfort other bodies symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients.(2)The comparison in the two groups of curative effect after treatment,the treatment group in the skin lesions score,TCM syndrome scores were significantly lower than the control group.The results showed that cupping combined with acupoint sticking therapy in treatment of damp heat type acne better than simple blood-letting puncture and cupping.Therefore,this comprehensive therapy is worthy of reference. |
