Objective:Using Gu ben shengjinye which prepared by ourselves to treat the COPDpatients who are proved to have weak symptoms of the spleen and kidney, andcomparing with the diet instruction treatment group, we are intended toprobe into the effect that the measure of strengthening spleen and nursingkidney treat to malnutrition caused by COPD disease.Method:The object of 60 study examples totally, was divided into two groupsat random, 30 examples called the treatment group, 30 examples called thecompared group. Method of treatment: The compared group were treated withthe diet instruction only, the treatment group were treated with both ofGu benshengjinye and diet instruction. Two groups of treatment courses are2 months, two groups of patients simultaneously accept the COPD conventiontreatment. Grade to two groups of clinical symptom before and after thetreatment and compare their targets of the lung function, the bodymeasurement, the life quality, theserum albumin, the lymphocyte and thepartial immunity target and so on. Lung function: After the treatment, compared the lung function betweentwo groups, in the aspect of the improvement makes an effort the vitalcapacity to account for the predicted value proportion (FVC/Pre%), asecond quantity accounts for the predicted value proportion (FEV1/Pre%),the highest expiration speed of flow accounts for the predicted valueproportion (PEF/Pre%), the treatment group surpass the compared group, hasthe significant difference (P<0.05); In the aspect of one second rateimprovement (FEV1/FVC%)t, the comparison between 2 groups has nosignificant difference.Conclusion:1. Gu benshengjinye can obviously improve the spleen and kidney two emptychronicity blocking lung disease malnutrition patient's clinical symptom,the clinical curative effect surpasses the comparison group.2. The measure of strengthening spleen and nursing kidney can improvemalnutrition situation in certain degree, enhance immunity and strengthen lung function.3. The measure of strengthening spleen and nursing kidney can delaythedowntrend on life quality of COPD patient which is caused by the diseasenatural advancement, it has the possibility toimprove life quality aftera longer time medication.
