In so far as the situation of clinicalsymptom' s improvement, both group A and group B had possessed the statistics sense (P<0. 01) , it clued to significant difference.Conclusion: It turned out that the manipulative reduction acting on the Atlantoepistrophica malpositon could preferably solve the problem of inequilateral space between tooth of axis process and lateral mass, and that manipulative reduction was the valid measure on such case. Then to the interspace between the left and right articular cavity of Atlantoepistrophica, in respective interposed steps of group A and group B , it all came into being the obvious benign effect. Yet when the two series were one another contrasted , significant difference were not found. It means both manipulative reduction and traction were good for such type of Atlantoepistrophica' s malpositon. Moreover, manipulative reduction proved to be the valid measure that it put right the setover of the Spinous process of axis (C2) , and the effect was obviously super to traction therapy . Furthermore, in respect of clinical symptom improvement, group A' s curative effect was significantly better than that of B group.
