Objective: To observe the effect of the Jiangxinxia powder on the content of ET,TXB2 and 6-keto-PGF1a in blood plasma whose the asthma model rats were ovalbumin-induced and to explore the mechanism of treating asthma.Method: There were 60 SD rats which were randomly taken out the blank compare group (blank group), model compare group (model group),Dexamethasone group (western medicine group), Jiangxinxia powder low dosage group (low group)and Jiangxinxia powder high dosage group (high group).except for blank group, others were made the rat model of asthma induced by intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin.14 days later, blank and model groups were given distilled water, the rest groups were respectively dosed counterpart medicine for 14 days. To observe the ordinary situation of the rats and the morphology changes of lung tecotology under the optics microscope, measure the content of the ET,TXB2 and 6-keto-PGF1a in blood plasma.Results: Both high and low dosage of Jiangxinxia could decrease the contents of the ET,TXB2 and increase the content of 6-keto-PGF1a in blood plasma effectively. It made the ratio of TXB2/6-keto-PGF1a trend normal, and had significant difference with model group(p< 0.01),they did not have statistical value with western medicine group, except for increasing 6-keto-PGF1a(p > 0.01),the high dosage was better than the low dosage; Each treatment group can remarkably improve the symptoms and the harm of lung pathology than model group.Conclusion: The Jiangxinxia powder could ameliorate the symptoms and defer the development of the harm of lung pathology. The mechanism may be associated with adjusting the release of inflammation meditors.
