Clinical Investigation On The Insufficiency Syndrome Of Spleen And Kidney Of Chronic Glomerulonephritis Treated With ShenYanErHao Decoction

Objective: In the study,the TCM theories of treatment according to syndrome differentiation were used to probe into the etiology,pathogenesis,management method and prescription of the insufficiency syndrome of spleen and kidney of Chronic Glomerulonephritis(CGN), and to find out the efficient way of treating CGN. Based on years of clinical experiences, my tutor preposed that the main mechanism of CGN is based on the deficiency of spleen and kidney. Damp and blood stasis are important factors that effect the development of CGN. So invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney, assisted with removing damp and stagnation of blood are the main treament principles of it. Guided by these principles, we made up a prescription of mdeical herbs named ShenYanErHao decoction(SYEHD) and observe its results from clinical investigation. Methods:We divide 60 patients of CGN into SYEHD group and control group(ShenYanKangFuPian) at random,each group has 30 patients, which are treated by the same methods of modern medicime,such as descending blood pressure, premoting urination etc.In the same time ShenYanErHao decoction is given to the SYEHD group while ShenYanKangFuPian to the controls. In the two groups ,the clinical symptoms, the nature of urine albumen, the tation of 24 hours'urine albumen and the change of BUN and Scr before and after treatment are observed respectively. Results:From the results of clinical research ,we can see that SYEHD can not only alleviate symptoms of the patients effectively, but also descend albuminuria and protect the renal function of the patients dramatically. The total efficiency is 83.3%, which is better than the control group significantly.
