Clinical Efficacy Research Of Treating Proteinuria Caused By Chronic Golomerulonephritis With Insect Herbs

We observed, organized and summarized the academic theory and clinical experience of professor Ye Chuanhui treating proteinuria caused by chronic glomerulonephritis with Insect herbs in the thesis guided by my tutor professor Li Mingquan carefully. We discussed the theory,princile,formula and herbs deeply of proteinuria caused by chronic glomerulonephritis guided by fundational theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Objective:Professor Ye Chuanhui who was the pioneer of treating proteinuria caused by chronic glomerulonephritis with insect herbs had her own unique theory and accumulated rich clinical experience in this area. But the the efficacy and safety of treating proteinuria caused by chronic glomerulonephritis with insect herbs has never been observed in the clinic. So the purse of the thesis is that evaluating the efficacy and safety of treating proteinuria caused by chronic glomerulonephritis with insect herbs to guide the clinical treatment.Methods:The choice diagnosis explicit chronic renal glomerulus nephritis albuminuria patient 64, divide into the treatment group 32 examples and the control group 32 examples stochastically. The control group uses the conventional just right for the illness treatment, the treatment group, in the control group treats in the foundation to add the insect class medicine, treats eight weeks later observes two group of case's Chinese medicine symptoms, the urine protein convention,24 hour urine protein quota and the security.Result:There was statistic difference in 24-hour urinary protein within both trial group and controlled group (P<0.01).There was statistic difference in 24-hour urinary protein compaired trial group and controlled group (P<0.01). There was statistic difference in total effective rate in the 2 groups (trial group 84.38% and controlled group 70.97%) (P<0.01) There was statistic difference inTCM symptoms in the 2 groups (trial group 78.13% and controlled group 67.14%) (P<0.01).The effectiveness rate,the marked improvement rate and the no-effctiveness rate were 31.25%,59.38% and 9.38% pespectively in urinary protein in the trial group.Meanwhile in the controlled group they were 64.52%,22.58% and 12.90% pespectively.So here came to the conclution that trial group was better than controlled group althougth patients in both groups coule got improved.All the patients in the 2 stages got the tests of three major general test(blood,urine and stool routine test), coagulation test, liver function test, electrolytes test and electrocardiogram test.That we only found slight side effects in the research indecated the better security of the method.Conclution:using insect herb to treat chronic glomerulonephritis was one of the effective methods because it could make clinical symptoms improved and decrease protein in the urine.
