The pregnancy and parturition is a important constituent part in procreation health. The global strategy of WHO has posed that "very person will enjoy the procreation health in 2005". How to improve the delivery quality and ensure the safety of mother and children has always been the goal of perinatal medicine requirement and reflection of human care . Now the medicine of mentality and body is getting more and more attention. Not only the influence of physiological elements on the delivery but also the influence of the social and mental elements on delivery should be paid attention to. Although the delivery is a physiological process, it is a consistent and strong stress to the lying-in women. The stress of delivery can both cause physiological stress and mental stress. The mental elements can influence the balance of adapt ability and health of the internal part of organism. As the doctors of obstetrics must realize the factors influencing delivery, which are also the lying-in women mental elements in addition to delivering power, birth canal and fetus of various mental elements, anxiety and depression is main mental reaction of the women in pregnancy and only elements to predict the pregnancy complication, which are adverse to the acquirement of good pregnancy outcome. This research is based on analysis of women who delivery in hospitals such as The Second Affiliated hospital ofChina Medicine University and The Third People Hospital in Liaoyang city, this research will discuss the influence and analysis of anxiety and depression to the delivery mode and conduct survey and research to the relevant social factors.The purpose1. To observe the relationship between the psychic factors (anxiety and depression) and delivery modes.2. To discuss the relevant social factors causing anxiety and depression.3. To provide a psychology nursing basis for antepartus and intrapartus on the above research.The method392 healthy nulliparas were involved in our study. Their mental state were evaluated according to Hamiltonian anxiety scale (SAS) and Hamiltonian depression scale (SDS). The delivery course of all women were processed routinely with the relative accompaniments and no interference. Delivery mode and postpartum were observed. They were divided into three groups (natural labor section group, forced group and caesarean group) according to different modes. The statistics analysis, variance analysis, q examination and chi square test, were conducted by SPSS software.ResultAmong the 392 women labor, the women getting mental obstacle occupied 57.4%. Among them, the anxiety rate is 19.89%, the depression rate was 21.56%, while the complication of birth occupies 14.03%. The anxiety score and depression score in Caesarean Group and forceps group were distinctly higher than that in natural group. The occurring possibility of the anxiety and depression increases with the age and study qualifications.ConclusionThe anxiety and depression state is a dostiugooshed factor to increase the rate of caesarear and forceps. The occurrence of anxiety and depression is associated with such social factors as age, knowledge extent, knowledge of mother infant.
