Investigation And Analysis On Smoking Condition Among The College Student Of Xinjiang

Objective In order to understand smoking condition and effect factors of the college student of Xinjiang. Methods To do cross-study by anonymous questionnaire, to descriptive the smoking situtation of Xinjiang's college students, to compare the KAP data between different population, to assess the relation of factors and smoking by no-conditional Logistic regression. Results Among the college student of Xinjiang, the smoking rate is 22.7%, and the male's rate is 44.35%, female's rate is 2.38%, Han ethnic group's rate is 25.69%, minority's rate is 20.2%. The result of Logistic regression shows the effect factors of smoking are sex, race, grade, profession, knowledge level of related to tobacco, age of trying smoking, whether alcohol and how, living expenses level and father whether smoke cigarette. Conclution The smoking condition of Xinjiang college student is serious, related departments and leaders should fix on this and make the strategy of control smoking according to characteristic of college student of Xinjiang.
