The Experimental And Clinical Study On Lactagogue Effect Of Chanbao Oral Liquid

Objective l.To investigate the lactagogue effect of Chanbao Oral Liquid(COL) on rats with puerperal hypogalactia, its effects on mammary tissue,the level of PRL and DA.2.To observe the curative effect of COL on patients with puerperalhypogalactia and COL's security.3.To discuss primarily the mechanism responsible for lactagogue effect ofCOL.Methods 1. Puerperal hypogalactia model was prepared in the rats with Bromociptinum method. Then, the level of PRL and DA in serum were determined and morphological observation of mammary tissue was carried out following COL therapy given.2. Patients with puerperal hypogalactia (deficiency of both Qi and the blood pattern) was selected and treated with Chanbao, then the quantity of latex, the level of PRL, the function of liver and kidney were observed.Results 1.Chanbao can antagnize puerperal hypogalactia induced by Bromociptinum and lead to increased PRL level and decreased DA level. 2. It could bring largely increase of the mammary gland cells and diameter of gland vessels.3.It could increase the quantity of latex of female rats and heighten thelivability of young rats.4.It could promote the' secretion of latex of patients with mapuerperalhypogalactia ( deficiency of both Qi and the blood pattern ) and increase thequantity of latex, at the same time, it can increase the serum level of PRL.There was not significant difference in efficacy as compared toBuxueshengru granule(P<0.05).5. It didn't come forth any adverse reaction curing the process of treatment.Conclusions 1. Chanbao can promote secretion of latex by means of increased PRL level, decreased DA level and expedite secretion channels. 2. There is not any adverse reaction in the clinical use of Chanbao. 3.Compared to Buxueshengru Granule, Chanbao has not significant difference in efficacy but has obvious predominance in price.
