| Purpose: To observe the function of electric acupuncture (pigmentary degeneration of retina) and the difference between electric acupuncture and acupuncture on treating RP ,and set up efficient clinic method for treating it.Methods: Treating 37cases of RP divided two groups at random by electric acupuncture and acupuncture. After therapy com -pared in many aspects, such as eyesight, field of vision, basic eyesight,etc,and compared the curative effect of two groups.4Result: (1)The electric acupuncture's curative effect reached 69.44%, the acupuncture's curative effect reached 44.74%.(2)The curative effect of eyesight> O.lpatients are more effective than eyesight^ O.lpatients ( P<0.05 ) .(3)In study about field of vision,the two groups patients'average photosensitive increased (P<0.05),the elec -trie acupuncture group is effecter than acupun cture groups . (4)In study of ERG,two groups' A wave swing distinct rise, and the group of electric acupuncture 's B wave delitescence shorten( P <0.05). (5)Medical record has influence to curative effects,longer medical record and poorer curative effects. .Conclusion: The electricity needle can improve the eyesight of RP patients and field of vision obviously strengthen the nerve fibre electricity activity in retina, the ones that damaged the retinarepaired obvious facilitation.The electric acupuncture its curative effect superior to simple acupuncture groups.
