Acne vulgaris is a common and frequently encountered disease in the clinic, particularly among the pubertal people. It is a common chronic inflammation of pilial follicles and sebaceous glands, mainly on the face, chest and back, giving the patients much pain and influencing the quality of life. The curative effect of modern medicine is not satisfied while the therapies have large side effect and high recurrence rate. The therapies of Traditional Chinese Medicine have unique advantage-reliable curative effect and small side effect, especially the acupuncture therapy.This paper verified the curative effect of needle-embedding therapy treating acne through clinical observation and the control group was treated by oral administration of medicine. The resolution degree of skin lesion before and after treatment, the amount of new papule, the feeling of grease and gargalesthesia, the relations of the curative effect and the course, the degree of patient's condition were observed. The results proved that the curative effect of needle-embedding therapy is superior to YanQing capsule. At the same time, the curative effect and the degree of patient's condition have notable correlation. The lower the degree is, the better the curative effect is obtained. While the curative effect and the course have not notable correlation. This confirms the clinical curative effect on treatment of acne vulgaris with needle-embedding therapy. It is worth utilizing widely in the clinic.
