| The assessment of the effects of investment in medical research and its result is very important to enhance the efficiency and the quality of the medical research management. Meanwhile, it is the project which most people who are engaged in the medical research management continually probe into and study. This article analyze the incensement in scientific research of a tumor hospital in Yunnan (Hospital A for short), its result and its current scientific research situation. Then we can conclude: by comparison with the her two hospitals which were built at the same time and also lie in the west, the scientific research quality of Hospital A is comparatively backward; the percentage of the talents academic credentials is unreasonable ,for example, those who have master degrees only make up 2.4% of the medical staff, however, the senior professionals doesn't play an full leading role in scientific and academic research; that Hospital A doesn't invest enough money in scientific research to cater to the need of the development of the scientific research is one of the main reasons why its development of scientific research is limited; Hospital A could carries out such ineffective management of the scientific research that the achievements of its scientific research are not so good. Through the investigation by questionnaire , it indicates several filters which limit the development of the scientific research of the hospitals, so in this article we put forward the solutions and provide the theoretical basis to improve the development of the scientific research of Hospital A and enhance its quality of the scientific research and management.
