| The internal hemorrhoid is a commonly and frequently encountered disease of clinic. In recently years, with the disease incidence increasing , people are paying more attention to it.The treatments of internal hemorrhoids roughly include conserv ative treatment and surgical treatment. We use XIAO ZHI ZHI XUE LING to treat internal hemorrhoids. XIAO ZHI ZHI XUE LING is a decoction for internal use developed on the bases of Di Yu Huai Jiao Tang and Dang Gui Chi Xiao Dou Tang. It can subdue swelling to stop pain, arrest bleeding and relax the bowels. For the purpose of verifing the clinical curative effect of it for internal hemorrhoids, 66 cases with internal hemorrhoids were randomly divided into the treatment group (36 cases) and the control group (30 cases). The former was given Xiao Zhi Zhi Xue Ling for the treatment and the later received Huai Jiao Wan . After three weeks' treatment the curative effect of clinic was observed. The results showed that the total effective rate for the treatment group was 94.44% and the control group was 80.00%. Statistically, there were great differences between them (p<0.05). It's obvious that the treatment group had better curative effect than the control group. The clinical research indicated that Xiao Zhi Zhi Xue Ling can obviously relieve clinical symptoms and signs of internal hemorrhoids. It has the advantages of short treating course, simple injection method, high curative effect, safety and small amount side effects. Xiao Zhi Zhi Xue Ling is an effective medicine to conservatively treat internal hemorrhoids, especially to I II phase of it.
