The Literature Study Of Mumps

By using the methods of clinical literature and medical history, this thesis firstly collects and summarizes ancient and modern times research findings in China and foreign countries which include the evolution of disease's name, pathogen, pathogenesis, diagnosis, principles of treatment, medicine and formula, etc. The researcher tries to find out the developing rule of mumps from the viewpoint of history, and provides basic and systematic literature for the farther researches.Secondly, the thesis analyzes and sums up principles and characters of the treatment, suggesting that the purpose of literature research lies in offering guidance and servings to clinic.Thirdly, with the means of statistic analysis, the thesis analyzes the similarities and differences of formula and herbs between ancient and modern times, having grasped the main developing threads of the application.Fourthly, according to the view of EBM (evidence-based medicine), this thesis attempts to evaluate the related journal literature published in the last 10 years, expecting that people can be aware of the clinical situation in TCM treatment of mumps levelheadedly.
