| Objective: To explore systematically the pathogen and mechanism of treati-ng migraine from theoretical and clinical aspects on the grounds of summing up the C hinese and foreign documentation and clinical experience by integrating TCM and modern research.Method: 60 cases with migraine are divided into two groups at random. And t he granule of Shu-Tian-Ning is given the treatment group, while the capsule of co mpound Yang-Jiao is given the control group.Results: The notably effective rate of the treatment group is 55.71%,and the to tally effective rate is 90.00%; while the notably effective rate of the control group is 36.67%, and the totally effective rate is 80.00%. There is a very significant diffe rence between the treatment group and the control group (P<0.01). And there is a significant difference at the aspect of improving the minor symptoms between the tr eatment group and the control group (P<0.05). And the granule of Shu-Tian-Ning c an improve the TCD and the accumulation rate of the thrombocyte.Conclusions: Based on deeply exploring the mechanism and therapeutic method of Toufeng, a new therapeutic method is found by the clinical observation.
