The Relationship Between The Expression Of Human Leucocyte Antigens And Periodontal Diseases

[ Objective ] To study the relationship between the expression frequency of HLA and Chronic Periodontitis.[Methods] Using Microlymphocytotoxicity to identify the expression of 15 HLA-A locus and 30 HLA-B locus antigens of 25 advanced Chronic Periodontitis and 25 periodontal health persons. The characteristic of different HLA locus distribution in two groups was analyzed. Using Polymerase Chain Reaction Sequence-Specific Primers (PCR-SSP) technology to identify the distribution of HLA-A30 and HLA-B7 genes of the same subjects and analysis the association between the two genes and Chronic Periodontitis.[Results] In all antigens identified by Microlymphocytotoxicity method shows us that ,the positive frequency of HLA-A30 antigens in Chronic Periodontitis (CP) group was. 12% compared with the 36% in the normal controls, the result showed statistically significance. The positive frequency of HLA-B 7 in CP group and the normal controls was o and 8% respectively .This result had no statistically significance. The positive of HLA-B57 in CP group and the normal controls are 7 and 1 respectively ,the antigen frquency is 28% and 4%, there were no statistically significance.The antigens expression of other locus showed no difference in the two groups. By PCR-SSP technology, the positive frequency of HLA-A30 gene was 8% and 36% in CP group and the normal controls. It was statistically significant between two groups. No HLA-B 7 gene was identified in CP group, and 4 subjects in the normal controls were defined. The difference had no statistically meaning. Confirmed by PCR-SSP, cross reactivity of Microlymphocytotoxicity methodbetween different HLA locus may occur .[Conclusion] HLA-A3 0 has the negative relationship with Advanced Chronic Periodontits.Postgraduate: Ji Qiuxia Directed by: Zhong Deyu...
