To improve the milk yield of COW and reduce the gap with developed country.it is inevitable trend that china dairy industry to carry out mechanized feeding.The cow amount of livestock in Xinjiang was 1 8.23%of china.but the milk yield was only 5.93%of china in 2006:The reason is that milk yield of single COW and feeding management level is low.It is necessary to develop a kind of equipment to discharge the concentrate feed of COW according to the need of single COW,by survey and analyze of the State farm 141,State farm 142,State farm 147 and West—china Animal Husbandry Group of Xinjiang produce and construction crops.First,the situation about cow-feeding technique and equipment was analyzed and technical requirements had been made.The overall design of cow-feeding equipment had been designed through analysis and study of the design process of the whole equipment.It is mainly composed of feeding mechanism,weighing mechanism and discharging mechanism. Then,the whole structure and structure parameter of each part had been determined.The structural design of the key parts--spiral conveyer,had been designed and studied.The propeller of spiral conveyer had been optimum design,the external diameter of hollow shaft (D),the internal diameter of hollow shaft(d),the diameter of helical blade(Dp),me pitch(S) is four design variations.The mass of the propeller(G)is objective function.The restrict equation was created and the problem has been solved by the software of MATLAB7.0.Then,weighing system had been built by intelligent instrument.The pneumatic mechanism which can be used to discharge the concentrate feed of COW had been designed. The relay control circuit of the whole equipment had also been designed.The design paper of pans and components of the equipment had been finished by software of AUTOCAD.The. propeller three---dimension model,virtue assemble of the equipment had been finished by virtue of CATIA V5 three--dimension design software.Finally,three kind prototype had been made.The first prototype is mechanical discharge the concentrate feed.The second prototype is pneumatic discharge the concentrate feed. Pneumatic discharge the concentrate feed has the advantages that it is simple in structure and has fast response speed and SO on through testing.The third prototype is pneumatic discharge the concentrate feed and the helical blade was optimized designed.The accuracy of weighing of the prototpe has been improved.From fixed to mobile type by universal wheels.the prototype can move by hand and feed,weigh,discharge the concentrate feed of cow accuracy. The weighing precision is about 5%.
