This project, Automated Rice Sprouting and Seedling System,was funded by NationalModernization of Agricultural Production and Development Foundation,China. The totalinvestment of9.3million yuan and the implementation location was Zhaoyuan,Heilongjiangprovince, China.The design included a greenhouse for rice seedlings,26x80m metal greenhouse forsprouting,400tons capacity automated sprouting equipment,16x76m rice seedlings matrixproduction and experimental greenhouse,30T/h capacity production equipment of rice seedlingsubstrate and16x76m automated seedling greenhouse.The technology of internet of things was used to monitor and control environmentaltemperature,relative humidity,light and CO2for the whole rice seedling culture system; Thecombination of “H” steel and polycarbonate (PC) sunshine board strengthen the structure of thegreenhouse to stand for strong wind and heavy snow. We used SolidWorks3days modeling andSimulation,and SolidWorks Simulation analysis method for the skeleton of rice seedlings matrixproduction and test greenhouse. We used the frame structure with light steel galvanized pipewelding line to achieve the greenhouse large span and large space. Rice seedling substrateproduction system can provide nutritional formula according to the requirements of seedlings Inthe seedling greenhouse,mobile sprinkler combined with micro spray irrigation system wereused to operate multilayer three-dimensional seedling system.The capacity of the system can provide high quality of rice paddies for200000mu.Thesystem can also be used in off season for vegetable and flowers production,which will bring inadditional revenues each year and therefore improved the economic efficiency,realized thecomprehensive utilization of rice sprouting base,promoted the rice factory sprouting process.
