Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Infantile Hyperactivity - Type Constipation By Modified

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of the experience prescription modified Xiebai San in treating children constipation with lung-heat, and study the clinical practicability of treating infantile constipation from the lung preliminarily, providing clinical and theoretical data support for the treatment of children constipation from lung, and providing scientific reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:60 patients meeting the inclusion criteria were recruited from outpatient department of pediatrics in the affiliated hospital of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine, and were divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each.The treatment group was treated with the experience prescription modified Xiebai San,and the control group was treated with Chinese patent medicine Maren pill for two weeks. Two groups’condition were observed and recorded before and after treatment.The data was collected and organized for statistical analysis with SPSS 17.0 software.Results:1, The baseline analysis:The two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05) in gender, age, course of the disease and integral of main, secondary symptoms, with comparability;2, Intra-group comparison:The treatment group and the control group all had significant difference (P<0.01) in the main symptom and the scores before and after treatment;The two groups had statistical difference (P<0.05) in the secondary symptoms and secondary symptoms integral;3, Inter-group comparison:Comparing the two groups after treatment,the curative effect of the main,secondary symptoms and the overall effect,had statistically significant difference (P<0.01); 4, The total effect of statistics: the treatment group of 12 cases were clinically cured, markedly effective in 14 cases, effective in 3 cases,invalid in 1 cases, the total efficiency was 96.67%; In the control group 4 cases were cured,11 cases markedly effective, effective in 12 cases, invalid in 3 cases, the total efficiency was 90.00%.Conclusion:The curative effect of modified Xiebai San in treating children constipation of lung-heat is significant, safe and reliable.
