| Based on the two main afforestation plants, Qintermedia Kuang et H.C Fu and Hippophae rhamnoides L which are the trial materials, selecting the peat soil ,vermiculite and the local rich soil, river sand ,rice husk to be mixed into seven matrix formulas and also selecting two different size bunch plates and nutrition bags, the researcher studies systematically the rate of germination, seedling height, the diameters of the seedling , the dry weight on the ground, the dry weight underground, the total dry weight and the ratio of dry weight upper and underground and gets to know the growing patter Qintermedia Kuang et H.C Fu and Hippophae rhamnoides L are in the different matrix formulas and container, and the suitable matrix formulas and container are selected. Some results are as follow:1. The proportion of the different matrixes in the composition affects greatly the rate of the germination for the two kinds of seeds of trees. For the Qintermedia Kuang et H.C Fu whose main matrix formula is the peat soil, if it is planted in any size of containers, the rate of germination for each group will be higher than 90%, and it can meet the producing demand ; If the main matrix formula is the nutritious soil, there will be six groups whose rate of germination is higher than 90%. The regularity of the rate of the germination of Hippophae rhamnoides L is similar to the one of Qintermedia Kuang et H.C Fu. The rate of the germination is higher than 90% after being sowed 28days and there are ten groups suitable for producing spread including A1B1.2. Study systematically the growing law of each group of the two kinds seeds of trees. (1) As for the growing height is concerned , the different matrix formula and container affect greatly the growing height of Qintermedia Kuang et H.C Fu and Hippophae rhamnoides L. Comparing with the seedling height in the same container, B1>B2, B3>B4.The order of the growing height of Qintermedia Kuanget H.C Fu from high to low is A6B3>A4B3>A3B3>A7B3>A4B1>.....; The pattern of the growingheight of Hippophae rhamnoides L is similar to the one of C,intermedia Kuang et H.C Fu, and theorder of the growing height of Hippophae rhamnoides L is A6B3>A7B3>A3B3>A7B1>A7B4>......,(2) As for the growing law of diameter is concerned, the different matrix formula affects greatly the diameter growing of Qintermedia Kuang et H.C Fu, so does the different container; the different matrix formula and the different container affect greatly the diameter growing of Hippophae rhamnoides L as well. It is similar that the growing law of diameter and the growing height of Qintermedia Kuang et H.C and Hippophae rhamnoides L have got. (3) The study reveals that if matrix formula mostly comes from nutritious soil, the biomass accumulation of the container seedling for both of the seeds of trees is more than the one of peat soil. The bigger the container is, the more the biomass accumulation has got. The order of the biomass accumulation in different container for the twenty-eight groups is B3>B4>B1>B2. (4) It can be divided into three periods for the upper ground of tender seedling period of Qintermedia Kuang et H.C and Hippophae rhamnoides L to grow. They are tender seedling period, fast growing period and lignification period. For the Hippophae rhamnoides L, the first thirty-five daysis the tender seedling period , the fast growing period is from thirty-five days to eighty-five days, the lignification period is after eight-five days. For the Hippophae rhamnoides L, the first fifty-five days is the tender seedling period , the fast growing period is from fifty-five days to one hundred five days, the lignification period is after one hundred days.3. Selecting the suitable matrix formula and the container combination. It is suitable for the Qintermedia Kuang et H.C to use the matrix formula which consists of the peat soil ,A3 (the peat soil: river sand=70% : 30%); it is suitable to use the matrix formula which consists of nutritious soil, A6 (the nutritious soil: river sand =70%:30%). Bl(V250) for the bunch plate, B3 (φ 9 × h18cm plastic nutritious bags). The combination groups which can be spread in producing are A3B1, A3B3, A6B1,A6B3; It is suitable for the Hippophae rhamnoides L to use the matrix formula which consists of the peat soil ,A3 (the peat soil: river sand =70%:30%), and it can be replaced A2 (the peat soil: rice husk= 70%:30%). The bunch plate Bl(V250) should be selected and the nutritious bag B3 (φ 9×hl8cm) can be used . The combination groups which can be spread in producing are A3B1( the peat soil: river sand=70%:30%+V250), A3B3(the peat soil: river sand =70%:30%+φ9×h18cm nutritious bag),A2B3(the peat soil: rice husk =70%:30%+ 0 9xhl8cm plastic nutritious bag)4. The afforestation statistics reveal that the cost is low and the growing into woods is fast if we use Qintermedia Kuang et H.C Fu. Although the cost of C,intermedia Kuang et H.C Fu is much higher than the cost of the naked seedling, the statistics show that we can select 0 9xhl8cm nutritious bag when the afforestation reaches or exceed the level of the preserving rate 85%.Its direct cost is lower than the one of the naked seedling (more than 10%) which reduce the afforestation cost effectively.
