In order to determine the best planting density, high calorific value of varieties and the annual variation regularity of biomass, this paper researched calorific value and its related factors of different densities, different ages and different varieties Hippophae rhamnoides. This study provided a new species for the construction of energy forests and provided some useful reference for future research work. The mainly conclusion of this research as follows:Form the index of seedling height, ground diameter and biomass, this research found that the planting density of 75cm×100cm and 100cm×100cm are higher than the others, the planting density of 30cm×30cm is the lowest one. The maximum seedling height is 95.8cm and the minimum is 61.4cm. The maximum diameter is up to 13.79mm, a minimum of 11.63mm. The maximum biomass is up to 163.36g,105.85g is the minimum.Through researching the different age of artificial seabuckthorn forest (2a~7a), this study got the result:the percentage of the trunk and branches in the overground part biomass increases with forest age, but decreased in the dry weight of leaf. Quadratic model is best fitting effect, R2 (0.943~0.976), in the growth dynamics of seabuckthorn biomass overground and organs part. And seabuckthorn tree branches, trunk, leaf biomass and age have a significant inter-related relationship. Quadratic and Power are best fitting effect, R2 (0.943~0.976), in the sea buckthorn overground biomass and each tree height, diameter, age fitted best. The biomass of each organ can be estimated by diameter and tree height.The calorific value of overground parts is significantly higher than the underground parts, and leaves is significantly higher than limb. The sequence is that leaf>stem> branch. Calorific value is positive correlation with carbon density,is negative correlation with ash content and kalium concentration. Nitrogen concentration and phosphorus concentration has no obvious correlation with calorific value. The scholar Huang, real gifted One, Liao Fu One have higher calorific value and carbon density, but the ash content and kalium concentrations are low.The Hippophae rhamnoides branch,trunk and leaf calorific value of differenr ages are overall rising-decline-rising.The calorific value and carbon density of 6 years old Hippophae rhamnoides are minimum.
