In order to evaluate nutritional value of wedelia chinensis for meat rabbits, The following tests had been carried through: Observing artificial cultivation of wedelia chinensis, Determining nutrient content of wedelia chinensis powder, Digestive trial of meat rabbits to wedelia chinensis, Effect of wedelia chinensis and Gui Mu No.1 on growth of meat rabbits, Effect of different proportional wedelia chinensis powder in diet on growth of meat rabbits and poisoning analysis. The results showed that: Inserting stalk could be used in cultivation of w-edelia chinensis after having been tested for one year. At the first year, wedelia chinensis had been mowed three times. The yield was 7337kg/hm~2. In predicting, wedelia chinensis could be mowed more than five times at the second year when it grows smoothly and the yield would increase greatly. The nutrient content of wedelia chinensis dried on concrete ground was following: gross energy (GE) 14.26%MJ/kg, crudeprotein (CP) 13.48%, crude fibre (CF) 17.71%, crude fat (EE) 2.88%, Ash 13.93%, nitrogen-free extract (NFE) 45.16%, Ca 1.67%, P 0.38%. Digestibility of meat rabbits to main nutrient content of wedelia chinensis had been determined, digestibility of CP, EE, Ash, Ca, P, hemicellulose, NDF and ADF was 68.72%, 54.27%, 2.65%, 72.30%, 89.80%, 77.39%, 52.95% and 9.38% respectively. The digestible crude protein was 9.62%. In the test of effect of wedelia chinensis and...
