Senior veterinary:Li Chang-an(College of Animal Science and Technoclogy. Northwest Sci.-Tech. University of Agriculture and Forestry) To explore the inidence(an) of abomasum displacement,306 dairy cows diagnosesed as abomasum displacement (AD) in the Veterinary Hospital of Northwest Sci.-Tech. University of Argriculture and Forestry were researched,From March in 2001 to September in 2003. Those cows were divided into different groups in the light of the daily concentracte mix intake (5~6.5kg,6.6~8.5kg,8.6~10kg,10.1~15kg),the parity(0,1,2,3,4),yearly milk production according to the standard of the previous lactation (4500~600kg,6001~7000kg,,7001~8000kg and >8000kg), and the period of the disease occurred (antenatal three month, Post natal within 30 days, postnatal from 30 to 60 days, and 60 to 120 days).Seeking the law of abomasum displacement incidence on the basis of statistic number of the abomasum displacement cows. The Treatment method of the disease: divided 306 cows into two groups according to the period of the disease occurred. One group(105) become ill within 96h Iv and Im anisodamine hydremide and analginum, the cure effect was observed as well. The others (201) as a group which get sick after 96h was replacd the abomasum by surgical operation and observed the treatment effect. The fellowing is the rdsults.1. The more concentrate mix intake, the more incidence of AD was increased. 2. The highest incidence of AD was observed from 2 to 4 parity.3. The cows that the last milk production was 6000-8000kg, had the highest incidence of AD.4. The highest incidence of AD occurred within 30 days postnatal.5. The highest time of AD occurred was from Nov to April of the next year.6. cure the disease combined anisodamine hydremide with analginum in 48h, the cure rate of left abomasum displacement(LAD) is 80.2%, the cure rate of right abomasum displacement(RAD) is 75.0%, and the average is 77.6%.7. The cure rate of LAD by surgery is 71.1%(101/142),RAD is 62.7%(37/59)...
