Displaced Abomasum (DA) in dairy cows is an internal medicine disease which refers to normal anatomical location change, and results in digestive function obstacle. Left Displacement of Abomasum (LDA) occurs more commonly in high yield cows, especially in the postpartum cows, bringing about enormous economic loss.This study consists of the three experiments. Experiment1:LDA dairy cows were treated by three different methods of surgical operation and to make an evaluation about all clinic application effects on treated cows were given consequently; Experiment2:The concentration of Volatile Fatty Acids (VFA) and electrolytes, pH value were detected in abomasum fluid and rumen fluid. Experiment3:The content of Blood Gas and Electrolyte, several biochemical indexes and dynamic changes of gastrointestinal hormones were determined in LDA dairy cows of postoperation and preoperation. The results are as follows:1. The Right Paramedian Abomasopexy is a simple operation, clear operative field, easier reposition, highest cure rate and is the most effective of treatment of LDA. Roll-and-Toggle-Pin Abomasopexy has some good traits: quicker completion of surgery, smaller incision, fast recovery, and obtain a favourable effect in this experiment. According to practical experience in clinic, it suggested that choosing Roll-and-Toggle-Pin Abomasopexy firstly, using the Right Paramedian Abomasopexy on surgical treatment of LDA directly if the abomasum don’t reposition.2. Test group compared with control group, the concentration of abomasum fluid of acetic acid, the concentration of K+increased, and pH value, the concentration of Ca2+decreased, and the difference was significant (P<0.05); The concentration of butyric and Mg2+increased, and the difference was extremely significant (P<0.01). The concentration of rumen fluid of acetic acid and Na+decreased, and the difference was significant (P<0.05).3. Test group preoperatively compared with control group, the serum level of K+and Cl-decreased, and the difference was extremely significant (P<0.01). The serum level of TCa, P decreased, and the level of TCO2increased, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). The activity of AST, GGT and content of BUN increased, and the content of GLU decreased, and the difference was extremely significant (P<0.01); The content of CHOL and TG decreased, and the content of NEFA increased, and the difference was significant (P<0.05); The serum level of CCK, GAS increased, and the level of SR decreased, and the difference was extremely significant (P<0.01); Test group preoperatively compared with test group postoperatively, the serum level of CCK, GAS showed a decreasing tendency, and SR showed a increasing tendency.Conclusion:1. Roll-and-Toggle-Pin Abomasopexy has certain application value in the treatment of LDA, Roll-and-Toggle-Pin Abomasopexy and Right Paramedian Abomasopexy used correspondingly can obtain a better therapeutic effect.2. When dairy cows occured LDA after, the rumen fermentation insufficiently, emptying dysfunction of gastrointestinal, VFA and electrolyte were accumulated in abomasums, the electrolyte and acid-base balance disequilibrium with different degree of hypokalemia, hypochloremia, low phosphorus, hypocalcemia and metabolic alkalosis, and disturbance of material metabolism and energy metabolism, and secretory disorder of gastrointestinal hormone.
