Research On Crane Moment Limiter

With rapid development of Truck-Crane in China, higher performances are required on Moment Limiter.This paper studys a new crane moment Limiter, which fully references advanced techniques such as electronics,computer,sensor measure and controll, based on domestic and foreign crane moment Limiter system.Main function models are processed by Programmable logic Controller(PLC),which can reduce lots of cost with higher power and reliability. For arm angle and length are changeable momentarily, the ultimate hoist competence of crane is changeable too. So characteristic curve and mathematics hoist model must be implemented first,Then the PLC programme according to the math model can provide protection for the crane.Through analyzing structure of truck crane, the paper provides a compact mathematical model and debugging method.The debugging method is simple and convenient, with reliable and exact measure datas. A year of fieldwork proved that the system has good application future.
