This paper study the method of improving the accuracy of tower crane bow platetorque limiter, using analytical method and control variables method to deduce therelationship between the deflection of bow plate torque limiter and hoisting moment,finding the main factors affecting the accuracy of the bow plate torque limiter. Theproposed solution is verified by simulation, and then put forward an improvement schemeof the existing bow plate torque limiter to achieve the function of improving the accuracy,and interchangeability. This study have important guiding significance for reducing thetower crane safety accident and ensure the safe operation of tower crane, and it also haspractical applications value.The main contents are generalized as following:(1) Research on measure principle of bow plate torque limiter. This paper analyzesfactors affecting the accuracy of the bow plate torque limiter from the measuring principle.Then carry on the force analysis based on the mechanical analysis for bow plate torquelimiter, tower top, jib and balance arm, progressively deduce the relationship between thedeflection of bow plate torque limiter and hoisting moment.(2) Research on method of improving accuracy of the bow plate torque limiter. Findthe main factors affecting the accuracy of the bow plate torque limiter through the deducedcalculation relation between deflection and hoisting moment, use analytical method andcontrol variables method to analyses these factors, find approaches to improve theprecision of the bow plate torque limiter.(3) Numerical analysis of method for improving precision. Taking a certain type oftower crane and bow plate torque limiter as an example, verify the method for improvingprecision by matlab and ANSYS simulation, proves the feasibility of the method throughcomparison of the two methods of simulation results.(4) Study structure improvement method of the bow plate torque limiter. Analysis onthe existing defects of structure of the bow plate torque limiter, propose a detailed methodof improved structure, improve its accuracy and increase its interchangeability function,and put forward the measures of anti-interference.(5) Verify the relationship between the deflection of bow plate torque limiter andhoisting moment by trials. Discuss and verify the results of simulation through theexperiment conclusion. In the end, make a brief summary on this dissertation and make a prospect for thefurther research.
