Research On The Problems Of Community Public Space In Shanghai

Community public space is the critical component of the entire urban space, playing a very important role in completing the urban functions, shaping the city figure and improving the urban environmental quality. As the vital carrier of the citizens'public life, community public space is one of the main places for citizens in their ordinary lives. The community public space that can bring people comfortable and satisfying interpersonal environment is the full manifestation of city's humanization and harmonious society construction. With the acceleration of the urban construction in our country, the spatial structure in the streets has taken great changes. While the construction in the community public space is in the ascendant and offer residents colorful living space, at the same time, there are many problems appearing.The paper researches on the current development of community public space in Shanghai from the space characteristics, physical form and typical public spaces in of typical Shanghai communities, then based on the analysis in the current situation, summed up the existing public space for Shanghai community and the main problems the reasons for these problems. Finally, according to the causes and propose solutions to these problems and recommendations to address existing public space Shanghai a solution for the construction of Shanghai in the future of public space proposals.This thesis is divided into six chapters.Chapter 1 introduces the topics of papers based on research goals, the main issues, innovation, research framework, research methods and data sources.Chapter 2 focuses on the concepts, classification and basic information of public space, reviewed the theoretical basis of writing and research scholars on the results of public space.Chapter 3 first briefly reviews the history of the development of Shanghai public space evolution, and then selects three representatives for the community from the spatial characteristics, physical form and typical public spaces of a typical combination of experiential study, questionnaire data analysis and interviews of residents in Shanghai community analysis of the status of public space development.Chapter 4 based on a Shanghai community public space on the analysis, summarized Shanghai community main problems of public space, and according to the main issues arising from the deep excavation of its causes.Chapter 5 makes the appropriate recommendations and proposals to solve for the problems and their causes of the public space.At last, the author summarizes the lacking of the study and the subsequent study issues of the thesis.
