Study On The Deck Pavement Of Epoxy Asphalt Mixture

Epoxy asphalt is composed, epoxy resin, curing agent and other additive, which has excellent physical performance and mechanical performance with its thrmoset property. Epoxy asphalt mixture has higher strength and toughness, better anti-fatigue performance,temperature stability, anticorrosion property and bonding force than conventional asphalt mixture. Therefore, the research on epoxy asphalt concrete for long-span steel deck pavement was introduced into China by the steel deck pavement of 2th Nanjing Yangtse River Bridge.The performance domestic epoxy asphalt and its mixture is studied in this thesis. Then, its applicability is discussed to accelerate the process of deck pavement technology of domestic epoxy asphalt mixture.Firstly, basing on the investigation of damage styles and reasons of deck pavement, the paper presents the technical requirements of water-proof binder coat and deck pavement.Secondly, the performance of epoxy asphalt and other water-proof binder coat was studied with laboratory experiment. Then, it makes target mixture proportion design to study on the aggregate scope, optimum asphalt content of mixture, the temperature and time of curing.Thirdly, after target mixture proportion design, strength, high temperature stability, anti-crack performance in low temperature, water stability,anti-oil performance of mixture are researched on.Fourthly, basing on steel deck pavement of Nanjing Binjiang Street, the paper presents the study on mix design,construction machinery association and project quality control of pavement course, presents reasonable advise and technical requirements steel deck pavement construction technology of domestic epoxy asphalt mixture, presents reference frame for extend and enforce of domestic epoxy asphalt mixture.In the end, with the performance of domestic epoxy asphalt, the paper invents epoxy asphalt with pavement and makes mixture proportion design, high temperature stability, anti-crack performance in low temperature, water stability performance of mixture are researched on.
