Deck pavement as an important part of the bridge system, can ease the impact of traffics on the bridge deck and meet the comfortable travelling. The paper addresses the concrete bridge deck pavement problems, which get through investigations, the oretical analysis combined with laboratory tests; and does a systematic study for the bridge deck on highway projects in Ankang, Shaanxi.First of all, the paper based on extensive collection of the domestic and the foreign research data, works out the contents, methods and technical routes of the bridge deck.Secondly, through investigating the damaged forms of the bridge deck, analysis the types and the causes of the early pavement damage, and the design indicators of pavement.Third, the paper explains the design of bridge deck drainage system; for the waterproof adhesive properties, it does a systematic study, respectively, about CCCW, waterproof adhesive materials and interface types.Then through contrasting its road performance, and choose the excellent performance of waterproof adhesive material and interface type.Fourth, for the asphalt pavement, the paper does the mixture ratio design, and determines the best aggregate ratio. By conventional rut, Hamburg rut and shear test, focuses on high-temperature performance. By the composite panel rut and the composite beam fatigue test, evaluate the anti-fatigue failure overall pavement structure, to provide a scientific basis for choosing paving materials and structure combination of the bridge deck pavement.Finally, the paper elaborates and explains the waterproofing adhesive layer and the asphalt concrete pavement construction points on the bridge deck, in order to provide technical guidance for ensuring the construction quality of pavement.
