Rizhao Port is the second largest port in Shandong Province; the main service is in Rizhao City, south-central of Shandong Province, southeastern of Shanxi, south of Shanxi, North of Henan, middle part of Shanxi. With the rapid economic development of the port's hinterland, the cargo throughput of Rizhao Port has a rapid growth, and can not meet the needs of fast sparse sets to transport the port cargo, it is necessary to speed up the Port road construction.Therefore, the paper select "Forecasts of Shugang highway project traffic in Rizhao Port" as master's thesis research.The paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter one: summarize. Introduced the topic background and research process of the paper, summarized the content, research ideas and research methods of research paper. Chapter two: actuality analysis of socio-economic and transport in the project affected zone. First of all, it defined the project affected zone, and then analyzed the socio-economic development actuality of Shandong Province, Rizhao City, eastern area of Rizhao City and Rizhao Development Zone from the macro to the micro. It focused on the status of traffic and transport, in particular the status of Rizhao Port transport. Chapter three: the socio-economic and transport development planning of the project-affected zone. The research idea of this chapter is the same with chapter two, focusing on the research in status of Rizhao Port throughput and transport way. Chapter four: Forecast of road traffic in Rizhao Port Shugang highway. Firstly, it illuminates the forecast ideas, procedures and methods, and then predicts the volume of traffic generated in Rizhao Port. Then forecast the traffic volume respectively focus on three recommended projects program, completed the preliminary preparation works before the project.
